Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe use, perform routine maintenance, and ensure HIPAA compliance while maintaining documentation and coordination with care teams.

You should have a High School Diploma or equivalent; one year of healthcare or field-service experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year healthcare technician or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain respiratory and HME equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including emergencies when required.
• Maintain home oxygen systems during scheduled visits.
• Complete documentation to support patient care and reimbursement.
