Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety, and maintain equipment per policy.

Field-based role with on-call rotation and driving responsibilities. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or field-based healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting.
• Respond to equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain documentation for patient care and reimbursement.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicle.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
