Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Medical Supply Delivery and Installation Technician for Depot Operations in Durham, NC. You will deliver and set up critical medical equipment at patients' homes and hospital locations, perform minor installations, and troubleshoot devices while maintaining vehicle and safety standards.

The role requires strong customer service, driving ability, and comfort with weighty equipment. Training is provided; OSHA/DEA/FDA compliance is part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Company vehicle provided; no CDL required.
• Ability to safely move equipment up to 75 pounds with proper lifting.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile, and drive for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible to work various shifts or overtime as needed.
• Ability to use phones and tablets for installation and troubleshooting.
• Vaccinations may be required per customer requirements or accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment to patients' homes and hospital locations.
• Load and unload products to and from company vehicles.
• Perform minor installation and de-installation in the home and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain vehicles and perform safety checks.
• Use company phones for order management and navigation.
• Ensure safe, compliant work practices and prompt follow-up with customers.
• Conduct cleaning procedures for durable medical equipment at the Depot.
