Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patients' homes and clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure comfort, safety and independence during transitions from hospital to home or other care settings.

The role emphasizes on-home visits, equipment maintenance, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards, with a strong focus on patient education and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in healthcare or field-based roles.
• One year of healthcare technician or field service experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of HME products, services and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and retrieve respiratory and HME equipment.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control standards.
