Job summary

AdaptHealth recruits a Medical Equipment Technician to safely deliver, set up and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers on proper use and safety, and coordinate with care teams to ensure comfort and independence.

You will perform routine preventative maintenance, document activities for reimbursement, and uphold HIPAA and infection-control standards while complying with company policies and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician or related field experience preferred.
• Senior level requires 2 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patient sites.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs; report hazards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Complete documentation and processes for reimbursement.
