AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety, and maintain equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or other sites as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and experience in healthcare, field service, or related roles. Expect a primarily field-based schedule with on-call coverage and adherence to HIPAA and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction, or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Performs patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including under emergency conditions when required.
• Maintain home oxygen systems through scheduled patient visits.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment per policies and safety standards.
• Process orders and complete documentation to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Promote company services and products to referral sources as appropriate.
