Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients’ homes, clinics, and care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, perform assessments, and ensure safety, comfort and independence during transitions of care.

Strong customer service skills, field-based work experience, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Requires customer service, field-based and healthcare experience.
• Driver's license is a must for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of HME products, services, and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete documentation and orders timely to support patient care and reimbursement.
