Zusammenfassung

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to provide in‑home delivery of durable medical equipment to Apria patients. The role includes patient instruction, device handling, and on‑site vehicle maintenance.

The anticipated hourly range is $21.56 - $23.05 USD, with actual compensation varying by experience, skills, education, and location. Excellent safety and service standards are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare’s Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and standards of accrediting body.
• English (reading, writing, verbal).

Aufgaben

• Deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Load and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on‑call basis.
• Complete necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick‑up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Maintains supply component of patient profiles.
• Notify supervisor if unsafe conditions are found in patient homes.
• May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including checking gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes.
• Performs other duties as required.
