Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Home Medical Equipment technician to reassess home oxygen patients, travel to patient locations for delivery and pickup, and initiate care and service. The role requires English communication and a high school diploma, with an associates degree preferred in related fields.

Travel by delivery van to homes and facilities will be part of the job. Full-time schedule is M-F 8:30am–5pm, with some variations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate with others in English (verbal/written).
• Associates Degree in related fields such as Respiratory Care, Health Science or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes reassessment visits to home Oxygen patients every 6 months or less.
• Travel by delivery van to patients' homes, hospitals, doctor’s offices and other facilities for delivery or pickup of home medical equipment and supplies.
• Initiate assessments, care, treatment and service.
• Maintain adequate knowledge level of HME industry.
• Participate in equipment management and infection control prevention.
