Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Home Medical Equipment specialist to support patients at home. You will visit oxygen patients, deliver and pickup equipment, and initiate care and service to meet safety and health needs.

The role requires driving to patient homes, hospitals, and clinics, with training on equipment management and infection prevention. A High School diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred; English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate with others in English (verbal/written).
• Associates Degree in related fields such as Respiratory Care, Health Science or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes reassessment visits to home Oxygen patients every 6 months or less.
• Travel by delivery van to patients' home, hospitals, doctor’s offices and other facilities as required for delivery or pickup of home medical equipment and supplies.
• Initiate assessments, care, treatment and service.
• Maintain adequate knowledge level of HME industry.
• Participate in equipment management and infection control prevention.
