AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to support patients by delivering, setting up, and maintaining respiratory and home medical equipment in home or clinical settings. The role emphasizes ensuring safety, independence, and comfort for patients and caregivers.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, customer-service experience, and a valid driver’s license. Field-based work is common, with comprehensive total rewards and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or field-based experience preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two (2) years of relevant experience, including one (1) year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including under emergency conditions when required.
• Maintain home oxygen systems through scheduled patient visits.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Process orders and complete documentation accurately and timely to support patient care.
