Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment and to educate patients on proper equipment use. Responsibilities include following patient orientation checklists, adhering to routes, and maintaining vehicle safety, with on-call rotations in evenings/weekends.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of driving experience, and strong communication and customer service skills. DOT/FDA paperwork literacy is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional driving experience is required.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and internal teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and warehouse per FDA protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations during evenings and weekends for patient medical emergencies.
