Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team, delivering home medical equipment safely and on time, while setting up equipment and educating patients on proper use.

Responsibilities include following routes, maintaining a clean vehicle, and on-call coverage. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year driving experience, and a valid driver's license. Must lift up to 50 pounds and meet DOT/FDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional driving experience
• Good with people, with excellent speaking and writing
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and handle equipment
• Familiarity with DOT and FDA paperwork is preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to routes and schedules
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and staff
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for medical emergencies
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse cleanliness per FDA protocols
