Job summary

Rally Credit Union in McAllen, TX seeks an experienced Home Loan Specialist to educate borrowers on the home loan journey, analyze credit, review income documents, and tailor loan solutions to their financial needs.

You will build and maintain referral networks, ensure compliance and accurate documentation, and guide members through loan processing, underwriting, and closing with a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years' experience in assessing customer financial needs in a high-volume sales or service goal driven environment
• One (1) year mortgage/real estate or commercial processing or lending required
• Bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate, advise and guide potential borrowers about the home loan journey including the analysis of credit, collection and review of income documentation and solution fit with their financial needs.
• Identify, develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a recurring source of referrals for new home loan opportunities.
• Provide a consultative sales approach to uncover our member's financial needs and goals by proactively identifying financial needs and matching them with home loan solutions.
• Attend all required lending trainings and meetings.
• Assist staff with mortgage servicing and collection efforts as needed.
• Offer and cross sell all credit union services and products.
