Job summary

Realm is seeking an A/V Technician to join our team in Manhattan, NY, with responsibilities spanning hardware installation, shades maintenance, and low voltage cabling for security and access control systems. You will diagnose issues, learn new A/V skills, and contribute to projects from setup to completion.

• A track record of successful integration and installation support.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills in the A/V field.
• A professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installing a range of hardware equipment, including TVs, speakers, video extenders, and amplifiers.
• Skilled installation and maintenance of shades.
• Installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling (CAT5/6, fiber, coax) and systems like security, access control, and A/V
• Utilizing your excellent diagnostic skills to solve technical issues.
• Continually learning and mastering new skills in the evolving A/V landscape.

What You’ll Do

As an A/V Technician at Realm, you'll play a crucial role in our operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Installing a range of hardware equipment, including TVs, speakers, video extenders, and amplifiers.

Skilled installation and maintenance of shades.

Installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling (CAT5/6, fiber, coax) and systems like security, access control, and A/V

Utilizing your excellent diagnostic skills to solve technical issues.

Continually learning and mastering new skills in the evolving A/V landscape.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience preferred.

Working knowledge of products from manufacturers like Savant, Lutron, Crestron, Sonos, Control4 and Universal Remote.

Location: Manhattan / Long Island /Connecticut

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour

Paid Time O ff : 13 PTO days (plus +1 day per year of employment)

Paid Holidays: 8 paid holidays
