Job summary

Howard Hanna Insurance Services seeks an Insurance Sales Assistant to ensure policies are accurate and ready for closing on home purchases in the Charlotte area. You will collaborate with clients, mortgage companies, and real estate agents to gather information and prepare policy documentation.

Responsibilities include reviewing paperwork for accuracy, obtaining needed documents, and issuing policies on time, while maintaining records in the agency management system and supporting insurance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year of office, administrative, customer service, or insurance experience.
• Property & Casualty license or interest in obtaining one (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage high-volume work and meet deadlines.
• Professional and confident communication with clients and partners.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients, mortgage companies, and real estate agents regarding insurance for new home purchases
• Partnering closely with insurance agents to gather information and prepare policy documentation
• Reviewing policy paperwork for accuracy, including names, property information, and other important details
• Obtaining additional documentation needed to satisfy carrier requirements
• Preparing Evidence of Insurance and invoices for closing
• Updating and maintaining records within the agency management system
• Assisting insurance agents with homebuyer information and policy support
• Verifying closing dates and ensuring policies are issued on time
• Reviewing, finalizing, and issuing insurance policies
