Job summary

Diamond Head Home Inspections is hiring 1-2 full-time home inspectors on Oahu. No inspection experience required; we train and certify. If you've worked construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, pest control, or facilities, you already have most of what we need.

You'll be on roofs, in attics, and under houses, then writing clear reports the same day. This is a fast-paced business with a reputation for quality, custom reports and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Certified with InterNACHI or ASHI preferred
• Understand the importance of quality and consistent customer service
• Basic knowledge of residential home systems and components
• Ability to participate in local marketing events or programs
• Aptitude for problem solving and professional conversations with real estate agents and customers
• Your office is your car—reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance
• Pass all employment screening and technical knowledge exam
• Authorization for background and driving checks will be required
• Available to work some evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift heavy objects and climb roofs

You'll be on roofs, in attics, and under houses, then writing clear reports the same day. Must live on Oahu, have a valid license and reliable vehicle, and be comfortable talking to clients.

This is a fast-paced business with a reputation for quality, custom reports and outstanding customer service. We will train the right individual.

Full-time, $20/hr during training then percentage of inspection fees after that, equipment and training provided.

Job Requirements:

• Certified with InterNACHI or ASHI preferred

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time

• Authorization for background and driving checks will be required


• Available to work some evenings and weekends


• Ability to lift heavy objects (i.e. carry a ladder and tool bag) and climb on roofs
