Job summary

IM Home Inspections, INC seeks detail-oriented inspectors to assess properties, work independently on some inspections and with seasoned teammates on larger properties. We provide hands-on training in our inspection process, reporting standards, and client communication.

You will join an office-supported field team, gain access to inspection software and mobile apps, and benefit from structured training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• InterNACHI certification or progress toward certification is required.
• Experience in inspection, construction, or related trade.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to explain findings clearly and calmly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections independently and with the team.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients.
• Maintain professionalism with homeowners, agents, and colleagues.

Job description

A good inspection takes technical knowledge, sound judgment and clear communication. Our inspectors help clients understand a property’s condition and make informed decisions, while treating homeowners, agents and colleagues with professionalism and respect.

You’ll work independently on some inspections and alongside experienced teammates on larger properties. We provide hands‑on training in our inspection process, reporting standards, and client communication.

What You Bring:

• InterNACHI certification, progress toward certification, or relevant inspection, construction or trade experience.
• Integrity and a commitment to thorough, accurate work.
• The ability to explain findings clearly and calmly.
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to keep learning.
• Confidence using inspection software and mobile apps.
• The ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel throughout our service area.
