Job summary

Float Health is expanding into Florida and building a pool of experienced Infusion Registered Nurses to support patient visits across Health District D, including Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk counties.

As an independent contractor, you choose your schedule with no obligation to accept a job, and you will perform in-home IV infusions and medications, utilizing your IV skills to care for patients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Florida) or compact license
• Current BLS certification
• Nursing liability insurance
• 3-5+ years hospital-Based or home infusion experience

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care and education in patients' homes
• Place and maintain peripheral IV lines

Float Health is expanding into Florida, and we are building a talent pool of experienced Infusion Registered Nurses (RNs) to support patient needs across Health District D , which includes Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk counties.

This is a great opportunity to complete the interview and onboarding process early and be among the first nurses considered for patient visits as we launch services in Florida.

Float Health is an on-demand nursing service company. Float partners with specialty pharmacies to connect patients and nurses for in-home medication administration. Each nurse works as an independent nurse contractor to provide patients with IV medications, including IVIGs and monoclonal antibodies. All jobs are when you want them, where you want them, and the best part is you get to choose your schedule. There is never any obligation to accept a job!

Previous job experience required:

• 3-5+ years of hospital-based nursing or home infusion/infusion center

Responsibilities include :

• Providing one-on-one patient care and education in the comfort of their own home
• Utilize your clinical IV skills by placing and maintaining PIVs
• Administer IV infusions and medications to patients in a safe and efficient manner

Previous job experience preferred:

• Emergency Department, Infusion Center, Infusion Home Health, Critical Care, Transport

Required Education:

• RN or BSN

Required Documents:

• Current Active State Registered Nursing License or Compact Nurse License (NLC)
• Current BLS
• Proof of Nursing Liability Insurance

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
