Job summary

Float Health connects experienced nurses with patients who need specialty medications administered in the comfort of their homes. Choose from available visits that fit your location and schedule — there is no minimum commitment and no obligation to accept a visit.

As a Float Health nurse, you’ll deliver one-on-one infusion care in patients’ homes, administering IV medications and monitoring during treatment. You work as an independent contractor, selecting visits that fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding.
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes.
• Administer IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs and monitor patients during treatment.
• Provide patient education and support while delivering nursing care.
