Job summary

Americare Pharmaceutical Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion care across New York City, including the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. This role offers independence, flexibility, and one-on-one patient interaction to ensure safe infusion therapies.

You will lead IV access, administer treatments, and collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate care, documentation, and patient education, traveling to homes within the coverage area as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Experience with peripheral IV insertion, infusion administration, and vascular access care.
• Strong assessment skills and sound clinical judgment when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Initiate home infusion services, complete initial assessments, and review prescribed treatment plans.
• Establish peripheral IV access or care for existing PICCs, ports, and other vascular access devices within demonstrated competencies and company protocols.
• Administer prescribed infusion therapies and/or monitor patients’ compliance with self-administration.
• Recognize infusion reactions, access complications, or changes in condition and respond promptly under established protocols.
• Perform ordered blood draws and coordinate specimen handling and laboratory follow-up.
• Coordinate care with prescribing providers, pharmacists, and Americare’s clinical team.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and organize visits within the assigned service area.

Infusion Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong IV skills to provide infusion care in patients’ homes throughout New York City. This position offers independence, flexibility, and the opportunity to build relationships through one-on-one patient care.

We’re looking for a confident clinician who excels at IV access, works well independently, and helps patients feel comfortable and informed throughout treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time, salaried position paying $125,000–$150,000 annually.
• Eligible non-taxable expense reimbursements under company policy.
• Four weeks of paid time off.

What You Will Bring

• Current, unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Demonstrated expertise in peripheral IV insertion, infusion administration, and vascular access care.
• Strong assessment skills and sound clinical judgment when working independently.
• Experience with blood draws, infection prevention, and infusion equipment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Clear communication, dependable follow-through, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to patient homes within the coverage area.

*Prior home infusion experience is preferred. Nurses with strong IV experience in infusion centers, oncology, emergency departments, critical care, or vascular access teams are encouraged to apply.
