Job summary

CVS Health, a leader in home infusion services, is seeking a Home Infusion Nurse (RN) to visit patients across New York City. You will administer infusion therapies at home, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and pharmacists to support optimal care.

The role requires NY RN licensure, infusion experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. A full-time schedule with travel within NYC is offered, with competitive benefits and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide broad range of infusion therapies in patients' homes.
• Deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing visits and patient education.
• Maintain documentation per physician's plan.
• Travel to patients across NYC five boroughs as needed.
• Receive ongoing training on infusion technology and clinical requirements.
• Ensure excellent written and verbal communication with patients and partners.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. If you are spending 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment. As a Home Infusion Nurse you will...

• Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RN's such as Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®)!
• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients' homes
• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recover in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Additional licensure may be required in multi state service areas
• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.

Schedule:

• This is a full time position working a flexible schedule of 30-40 hours/week
• Participate in the telephonic on-call rotation (no in-person visits!) of two weeks/year.

Coverage area:

• You will visit patients throughout the five boroughs of New York City

Along with earning your hourly rate for both patient and drive time, we reimburse travel expenses that include:

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current license in NY
• Minimum one year nursing experience
• Strong IV insertion skills with a minimum of one year infusion/IV experience
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Home healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
• CRNI certification is a plus, but not required

Education:

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$32.01 - $68.55

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
