Job summary

Float Health connects experienced nurses with patients who need specialty medications administered in the comfort of their homes. Nurses work as independent contractors and can choose visits that fit their schedule, with no minimum commitment.

As a Float Health nurse, you will provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes, administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies, starting peripheral IVs, monitoring treatment, and educating patients to ensure safe, compassionate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes.
• Administer IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs.
• Monitor patients during treatment.
• Provide patient education and support.

What You'll Do

As a Float Health nurse, you'll provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes, including:

• Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment
• Providing patient education and support
• Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care

Requirements

• Education/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience
