Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Home Infusion RN to work in Coram CVS Specialty Infusion, visiting patients at their homes to deliver infusion therapies under physician plans. This role emphasizes one-on-one care, education, and safe administration of treatments in a home setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in ID with at least one year of nursing experience and strong IV skills. Travel to Boise area is required with paid time and travel reimbursement; part-time schedule and CVS benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide broad range of infusion therapies in patients' homes.
• Use your IV skills and personal touch to aid recovery at home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing visits and patient education per physician plan.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with patient, physician, pharmacist and partners.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; continuous training on new infusion tech.

As a Home Infusion Nurse with Coram CVS Specialty Infusion, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field.

As a Home Infusion RN you will…

• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients' homes
• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recover in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas
• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
• Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RN's such as Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®)!
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Schedule and travel time

• In this autonomous, per diem position, you will average 10-20 hours/week visiting patients in Boise and surrounding areas.
• Drives of up to two hours each way are possible. All travel time is paid and we have a travel reimbursement program.
• Hours are mostly during the day, but can go into early evenings at times.

Registered Nurses (RN) with Coram CVS/specialty infusion services, have a uniquely rewarding setting to use their exceptional nursing skills. Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in state of ID. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience
• Strong peripheral IV skills
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.
• Participate in the telephonic on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. Currently, our ID nurses do not need to participate in this schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years' nursing experience
• Home healthcare experience

Anticipated Weekly Hours 3 Time Type Part time Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $26.01 - $56.14

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
