Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion setting, under physician plan of care and supervisor guidance.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with preferred BSN. You will ensure patient safety, educate families, and maintain timely documentation for care and billing.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Organizes and participates in the provision of direct patient care, performs treatments, administers medications, and educates patients and families/caregivers.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Communicates with clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families to facilitate continuity of care and completes documentation timely.
