Job summary

Orkin is seeking a results-driven Sales Inspector to join our team in Skokie, IL. You’ll inspect homes, identify pest-control needs, and propose effective treatment plans backed by an industry-leading brand.

You’ll build trust with homeowners, close sales, and manage scheduling and documentation on an iPad. Training is provided, and compensation includes base plus commission with uncapped earning potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use ladder safely within weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc.
• Wear PPE, sometimes requiring OSHA-compliant respirator.

Responsibilities

• Conducting full-home inspections (from attic to crawl space).
• Build trust by explaining findings clearly and recommending best options.
• Close sales by showcasing value and long-term benefits of Orkin’s services.
• Manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation using an iPad.
• Work independently, prioritize your schedule, and maximize leads.
• Represent Orkin with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
