Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement projects.

You’ll answer questions, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly, professional service. This role offers part-time hours with the store environment you expect at Lowe’s, including opportunities to learn across departments and participate in training programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service goals
• Prepare department-specific tasks (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/trim materials)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
