Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in New York to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. You will participate in inventory replenishment, assist across departments as needed, and support checkout processes to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have basic computer and retail tech experience, strong communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties requiring physical effort including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves by replenishing products and organizing displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
