Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers find products and services for home improvement needs at our store.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining store standards. The role supports a variety of departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, with duties including greeting customers, stock replenishment, and processing orders.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic input/output tasks.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand, sit, and perform other duties as needed for the job.
• Able to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
