Erie 1 BOCES Alternative Education offers on-call tutoring for students in grades K-12, either virtually or in person. Tutors set a flexible schedule, with hours that may be provided during the day or early evening Monday–Friday depending on availability.

The role requires NYS Teacher Certification in a Core Subject area. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Per diem work is provided as needed.

• Create your teaching schedule (required hours can be provided in the day or early evening Monday–Friday, depending on availability).
• All instruction is provided either in-person (typically a community location) or virtually.
• Materials and lessons are provided by the student's home school district.
