Job summary

You will be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience in home healthcare, medical billing, or patient intake.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and reimbursement practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and referral sources; gather and verify intake information.
• Verify insurance coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, private payers) and document accordingly.
• Coordinate documentation and service setup for respiratory products and medical equipment.
• Communicate with patients and internal teams to ensure timely service and issue resolution.
• Maintain organized records and logs in compliance with standards.
