Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to manage home healthcare intake and insurance verification.

You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, ensuring accurate intake and smooth coordination of durable medical equipment and respiratory services. The role requires communication excellence, ability to multi-task, and adherence to healthcare privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable).
• Experience in home healthcare, medical billing, or patient intake preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and verify insurance coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, private payers).
• Coordinate documentation and service setup for respiratory products and medical equipment.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and internal teams to ensure timely service and inquiries resolution.
• Assist with office operations including supply monitoring, deposits, and batch reporting.
• May cover on-call and make home deliveries as needed.
