Job summary

Family Home Health is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to support residents in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties. This PRN position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to improving communication and quality of life for older adults.

Travel to patients' homes, provide targeted therapy, document progress, and coordinate with physicians and staff. Required: state license, 1 year clinical experience, CPR certification; strong communication and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Speech-language pathologist license, in good standing with the state.
• 1 year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient’s function.
• Travel to patient's homes to assess their speech needs and complete therapy treatments.
• Administer speech therapy program utilizing specialized therapeutic technique and/or equipment.
• Recommend communication devices/ aids as indicated.
• Confer with referring physician and other organizational personnel to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Prepare and submit notes per organization policy.
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice and theory.

Family Home Health is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP)for Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties who is ready for a challenge and wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults. Requirements:
