Job summary

Puyallup Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group in the Optum family, is hiring a Speech Therapist to assess and treat speech, language, and cognitive disorders. You will help create and follow a treatment plan, and monitor progress in the patient’s home health setting.

The role requires WA licensure, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work a weekend rotation. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in Washington state.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification (preferred) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services within the scope defined by state law and care plan.
• Evaluate function and assist in developing therapy plan of care.
• Treat patients to improve communication and swallowing; document progress.
