Job summary

Puyallup Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group family, seeks a Speech Therapist to assess and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive needs. You will build and monitor a treatment plan, work within the care team, and support patients and families in communication strategies.

Licensed WA speech therapist with reliable transportation is required. Weekend rotation may be needed, with a compensation package including comprehensive benefits and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of Washington.
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in developing therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.
• Observes and reports patient progress to supervising nurse or physician.
• Educates patient and family on speech therapy techniques.
