Job summary

American River Home Care is seeking a compassionate In-Home Health Care Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in clients’ homes. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized plans and ensure high-quality care tailored to each client.

The position requires at least a Bachelor's or Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid state license, with a preference for 2+ years in home health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist, preferably home health.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech and language disorders.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and alternative communication methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers.
• Empathy, patience, and confidentiality in therapy practice.

Responsibilities
