Job Summary

As an In-Home Health Care Speech Therapist, you will work directly with individuals of all ages who have communication or swallowing disorders in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and provide tailored treatment to improve their communication and swallowing skills. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to develop personalized treatment plans and ensure the highest quality of care for your clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech and language disorders.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and alternative communication methods.

• Utilize appropriate assessment tools and technology to assess and enhance communication skills in the home environment.
• Stay up-to-date with research and advancements in the field of Speech Therapy through continuous professional development.
• Adhere to industry standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements relevant to in-home healthcare and Speech Therapy.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of assessment, treatment, and progress reports.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
