Job summary

Avera Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide speech therapy in the home setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver direct therapy across age ranges, coordinate with rehab and nursing teams, document results, and participate in internship programs; a sign-on bonus and student loan repayment may be available.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP required or ASHA eligibility
• Active state license required
• 1-3 years hospital/home health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients using formal and informal assessments to determine intervention needs.
• Develops individualized treatment plans for speech therapy services.
• Delivers direct therapy in multiple settings to address deficits.
• Plans therapy/goals coordinated with rehabilitation and nursing care plans.
• Documents evaluation results and progress notes for patient records.
