Job summary

Mission Healthcare in St. George, UT is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver home health therapy services.

You will assess patients in their homes, develop individualized plans of care, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and the care team, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• At least one year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assess the home environment to support therapy goals.
• Develop and implement personalized plans of care for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapy using specialized techniques and equipment tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and other clinical team members.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with agency policies.
• Supervise home health aides when services are directly related to the speech-language plan of care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapy programs and goals.
