Job summary

Always Best Care of Greater Cleveland is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our community-based therapy team in Ohio. You will assess, treat, and tailor plans to enhance communication, swallowing, and quality of life for patients in their homes.

You’ll work with families and care teams to promote independence and safe, functional outcomes, using AAC and assistive devices when appropriate. A compassionate, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP credential or eligibility required.
• Active Ohio SLP license or eligibility for licensure through CFY required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech, language, communication, and swallowing treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve communication, articulation, cognition, oral motor skills, and swallowing function.
• Help patients reach meaningful goals and maximize independence at home and in the community.
• Recommend and support AAC, assistive technology, and communication devices when appropriate.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
