Thrive Therapy of Kansas seeks a Part-Time Home Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support patients in the Wichita area. You will work under supervision to deliver individualized therapy for communication, language, cognition, and swallowing issues in patients' homes.

The role requires an accredited SLPA program degree, Kansas SLPA licensure, and strong communication skills. Flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement are offered to enable quality patient care.

Formación

• Associate's degree from an accredited SLPA program is required.
• Active Kansas SLPA license/certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of SLPA experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLPA.
• Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Assist patients in improving communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills as directed by the SLP.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercises, and communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach during all visits.
