Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. in Joplin, Missouri is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to perform home health visits between the Joplin and Monett areas. The role offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and comprehensive training in a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, creating and adjusting treatment plans, and educating families to promote home-based recovery and independence. Some travel to local cases is required.

Qualifications

• Active and current SLP license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you!
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their own home for rehabilitation.
• Perform evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and independence.
