Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Home Health division in Waldorf, MD. The role emphasizes compassionate in-home patient care with a focus on quality and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, Maryland RN license, BLS certification, and a desire to work with patients in a home setting. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Maryland State nursing license required.
• Active AHA BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license with agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the home.
• Document patient care and outcomes electronically if applicable.
• Delegate and supervise tasks for Home Health Aides and LPNs.
• Support new staff or students.
• Participate in quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning.
• Pursue professional development and growth.
• Meet agency standards demonstrating flexibility, commitment, and adaptability.
