Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (LPN or RN) to administer patient care in Kingman, AZ under a physician care plan. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling with shifts 7pm-7am or 7am-7pm and pay that includes a $1,500 bonus after 90 days from first visit.

Qualifications

• Current State or Compact RN license is required.
• TB test and physical examination are required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Maintain required professional liability insurance.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication.
• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and make quick decisions.
• Must have dependable transportation and commute to patient homes.
• Ability to provide basic medical management in home care.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care.
• Document care accurately in the system of record.
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies.
• Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and wound care as needed.
• Observe changes in condition and report findings.
• Communicate with family, physicians, and case managers.
• Educate patient and family; train home health aides as needed.
• Provide one-on-one care in the patient’s home environment.
• Collaborate with and supervise CNAs and PCAs.
• Perform additional personal care services as required.
