Job summary
University Home Care Inc in Oakland, MI is seeking a Field Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality in-home nursing care, assess patients, and develop and implement care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
You will work independently visiting patient homes across Oakland, with interviews in our Livonia office. Requires Michigan RN license, 1 year home health experience, BLS, and proficiency with Kinnser. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Michigan RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, home health experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Kinnser is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care and monitoring of chronic conditions.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans.
- Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
