Job summary

University Home Care Inc in Oakland, MI is seeking a Field Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality in-home nursing care, assess patients, and develop and implement care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will work independently visiting patient homes across Oakland, with interviews in our Livonia office. Requires Michigan RN license, 1 year home health experience, BLS, and proficiency with Kinnser. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Michigan RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, home health experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Kinnser is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care and monitoring of chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans.
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and deliver personalized care that meets each patient’s unique needs. Interviews are going to be in our office located in Livonia.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, home health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Kinnser
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Oakland, MI.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
