Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Per Diem Home Health Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in patients’ homes, including case management, wound care, IV therapy, and patient teaching. You will travel to patient locations and coordinate care with the Mercy home health team.

Required is graduation from an accredited nursing program, current state licensure, a valid driver’s license, and CPR certification. Preferably 1 year of related experience to join a caring, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from accredited nursing school.
• Current state licensure. Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day patient care in the home setting.
• Perform visits following department policies.
• Administer IV therapy, dressing changes, and general skilled nursing tasks.
• Document care in Epic with accuracy and timeliness.
