Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate home health nurse to provide day-to-day patient care in the home setting, including case management and total care for multiple patients with varying acuity. Responsibilities include admissions, assessments, teaching, IV therapy administration, and ensuring safety and quality care in accordance with Mercy policies.

This per diem role requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, current state licensure, a valid driver's license, and CPR certification;

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from accredited nursing school.
• Current state licensure is required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day patient care in the home setting.
• Perform case management and total care for multiple patients with varying acuity.
• Administer IV therapy and provide dressing changes per policy and procedure.
• Document care using Epic system and ensure timely, accurate records.
