Job summary

EHS Home Health Care Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for home health in the Des Plaines area. The role offers flexible to part-time scheduling, daytime hours, and a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.

The RN will build therapeutic nurse–patient relationships, assess readiness, educate patients and families, and coordinate care across the healthcare continuum. Illinois RN licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Earn 10 continuing education credits annually
• One year of medical surgical experience
• Proficiency for RN role

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a therapeutic nurse–patient relationship across the continuum.
• Assesses patient readiness and involves family in planning and care.
• Ensures quality, cost‑effective care and patient safety.
• Delivers patient and staff education to improve outcomes.
• Applies nursing process and coordinates interdisciplinary care.
• Delegates appropriately and seeks resources for disruptive behavior.
