Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our in-home care team.

You will deliver in-home respiratory therapy, support patients using ventilators and oxygen, and partner with physicians to optimize treatment outside traditional clinical settings. This role emphasizes autonomy, patient education, and personalized care across diverse home environments.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or an equivalent medical credential (e.g., RC, RN, LPN).
• Current licensure in primary state of residence; willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide respiratory education.
• Adjust ventilator settings and monitor patient needs per physician orders.
• Troubleshoot and maintain advanced respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
• Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel to patient homes as needed.
• Assist with training and orientation of new clinical staff.
